Did you know.... You can use Twitter as a PLC.....Twitter is full of educational leader who are beginning some great conversations about the very things that you care about. These conversations can be general conversations about education or very specific conversations about grade level issues. Get involved by following one of the greats! (They have semi-celebrity status in some circles) You might find you want to jump in and offer some of your own wisdom or you might ask a question of the group and get some feedback. The time you spend will definitely keep you on the top of the major topics and trends of the day.

As the year goes, I will continue to add the best of what I find. www.wordle.net allows for creativity with words! How about a guessing game using relevant descriptive words from the text?
GlogsterEdu is a fun way for kids to present information! Can be used for reports on any subject.
Kerpoof Studio will allow your students to presents reports in a new and creative way. Students can also create their own books and stories. Use your imagination!
Scholastic has great interactive, premade whiteboard lessons. Take this opportunity to get comfortable on the
Smartboard! Scholastic will get you started and help you to gain some confidence in your knowledge of this technology.
