Welcome to the Kennedy and Jefferson School Media Center website!  My  name is Mrs. Palanchi and I am your new Media Specialist.  There is so much going on that I want to share with you!  Students, Teachers, and Parents will all find valuable information here!  The Library has always been the place to come for books, now you can come to the Library for all kinds of great technology information, too.  Just click the page that interests you and find out what is new for this month.  There are lots of great websites for all of us!



Book Fair

COME VISIT THE BOOK FAIR!  Kennedy is having their first Book Fair the week of October 24th.  The Book Fair coincides with conferences, so stop into the Book Fair before of after your conference.  All proceeds will benefit the Kennedy School Media Center and infuse the collection with new titles.  During your child's library time, we talk about all of the great books that they would love to have in their library.   We are excited for our first Book Fair!  Join us in making it a huge success!

Skoob the Shelf Elf

We are going to meet a new friend at school this year.  Skoob will help us learn how to act in a media center!  He will also show us where things are kept in the media center!  Look on the student page to find a bookmark that you can print out and make at home.  Skoob will spend alot of time teaching us about the media center this year.
